Canada-based Rocky Mountain Bikes has introduced its two new electric bikes for winter riding, the Blizzard Powerplay A50 Sram and A30 Microshift . They are mountain bikes with fat tires that allow winter riding in a new way.
Electric bikes are almost similar to each other; Both bikes feature an alloy frame and carbon fork. Additionally, the bike has an integrated display and internal cable routing. Additionally, there are 15 mounting points around the bike to attach optional accessories needed for snow spraying adventures.
The Rocky Mountain electric mou Special Data ntain bike features a new Dyname 4.0 mid-drive motor with a maximum power of 700 W and torque of 108 Nm. The e-bikes are powered as standard by a removable 720 Wh lithium-ion battery.
Both bikes have 27.5-inch Wilderness Trail Bikes (WTB) tubeless tires and fat 4.5-inch-wide VeeTire Snow Avalanche tires.
The only difference between both bikes is that the A50's stopping power is provided by Sram G2 four-piston hydraulic brakes, and the A50 has a Sram 10-speed gear set. On the other hand, the A30 has dual-piston Sram Level versions and the A30 runs a MicroShift setup.
The price, speed, range and other details of both bikes have not yet been revealed. However, the company said that they will update the specifications and prices of the bike very soon. The bikes will be available soon on their website .
